Art Crimes

People are free to protest art they don't like, but it should never be banned, as happened in this case at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. A few years ago, postage stamp art showing gun next to the head of Bush was banned at the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay and investigated by the secret service. It's time to bring some sense here, and to recognize that displaying work by supporters of Al Qaeda is not material aid to terrorism, and that showing fiction about killing the president is not a death threat.
