Horowitz and friends are claiming that up to 20 state legislatures will introduce laws compelling state colleges to adopt Horowitz's policies.

Why legislate academic neutrality? That completely violates the professor's prerogative to make decisions that require academic expertise. I've written a longer letter explaining this. --Ben Bayer
