Obama Documentary Banned by the School of the Art Institute of Chicago

I've posted an article at Daily Kos yesterday about the School of the Art Institute of Chicago banning the showing of a documentary about Barack Obama. InsideHigherEd.com has a report this morning.

One of the Art Institute's students recently exhibited a sculpture of Obama as Jesus.

Given that university's are generally not supposed to appear to "endorse" a candidate, doesn't their circumspection rather show a refreshingly anachronistic fear of appearing to be outright shills for the man?

Besides, your observation in that piece that this is merely a "documentary" must be tenditious if you are so familiar with him. After all, he *narrates" this documentary.
